ADSL

I've got broadband and so have many of you. Occasionally, I do one of them tests. When things are quiet, I get almost 7mbs download but only 370kbs or so upload. Why? Yes I know it's ADSL but that doesn't explain why the upload cannot be better. And yes, I know it could be better with SDSL but that costs a fortune. So why can't I have the same speed in each direction for a sensible price. I bet my PC could handle it.

And btw I suspect that that is why the last video upload failed.
