Well tonight I started to construct this and as is normal with computers/software, I soon hit a problem. No way could I load a picture into my profile. The help pages were of little use. I have long held the view that software is not written by even remotely normal people so that is why it gives problems to Mr. Average. And there you go right now - the screen flickers and it tells me that the draft autosaved at 23:26. Did I ask it to autosave - No! Did it ask me if I wanted the draft autosaved at any time - No!

Anyway since we didn't get a picture on the profile, let's see if we can get one in here.

Wow, success. But is it? Note how the font colour has changed without me even asking.

So let's get back to the original.

The pic by the way, is me on a boat on the Chobe River in Botswana with a lone elephant in the reeds. Strange that, we saw literally hundreds all along that river so it's odd to get just one on its own. I'll have more to say about Africa on other occasions.

Oh and now that autosave thingy has packed up saying that is could not contact Blogger.com. After thinking about it for a few minutes, it now seems to working again. I can see this blogging business is going to be interesting.
